Blog Post#5: Connecting My Project to My Definition of Art!
1. My COMPLETE definition of art is like a design. Everything is completely made up from inside our imagination! WHOOO! Art had so be beautiful and colorful (though some may disagree because black and white is pretty too!). I think it has to show emotions and hard work. I don't think it's art if there isn't any effort, like I said before.
2. I think in ways my project connects to my definition of art is it has colors!! I do think I have been putting my effort in it. I'm not really done with my project because I choose to do it slow without rushing myself and not putting any hard work. I'll finish though!!
3. The moods that I seem to have put in my project is something that has the nature feel to it. I use colors to express them and most of them are light that gives the light emotion. There is also a feel of beauty combined with nature since my project is connected to the creation myth. And it just had to feel green.
4. It' s been a little difficult because I am not really finish. I should be able to manage my projects and I' m required to finish at a certain deadline which I probably fail at doing, but it's almost done! I'm not very good at coloring so it's a bit hard doing all that coloring techniques and I'm working on it yeah!!

Blog Post #4
I want the message of my art piece to be about fashion. I want to make it an art piece and prove that it is. I would most likely focus on the clothes but also draw out the person. I'm not actually sure how the picture will turn out yet. It will have to be random first and see where it gets me.
I'll have to challenge myself to use color pencils and if possible some watercolor effects. I would prefer it be colored, because it can represent my thoughts on whatever color I put in there.
What is Art Part 1
I believe art is everything. Art can be random but I believe that it comes from hard work. It wouldn’t be art if there were no effort. If there’s effort it shows that there was thought in making it and it connects to expressing what you want to put out there then it would be art. Art should also be something that you take away from your perspective, maybe in life. Which I think makes art because it’s sharing someone’s point of view and it starts by creating something that expresses it by using art. I think the qualities art should have is it shows emotion, it doesn’t have to be anywhere fancy like the museum and it has colors to express feelings and thoughts. In my definition of art, moods, symbols and metaphors are what are used to express thoughts and feelings. I think it’s a different way to look at it instead of writing and having people read them. It’s much better to look at a picture with a whole story in one piece. Art is very important to me. It’s because I am an artist and I like to do a lot of art related things like drawing and using colors. I enjoy creating things that I take from my thoughts into what I want to see in paper. It’s also like therapy for me because it helps me express my feelings in a different way rather being bottled up and causing it to be stressful.I like having to draw out my feelings and still hide them in a picture. I can express anything and at the same time hide them. I think with art it shows more of how much you put into it. It shows hard work and how amazing it is to be able to create something with your own hands rather in the media. I guess if it’s using visual art, it looks more real. It can be real rather showing a picture. In my art piece, the qualities it should possess for it to be an actual art piece would be filled with colors. It will show shapes, the pictures would have balance between each other. I will make sure that it takes hard work to finish my piece because it’s part of what I think art is and colors I will use to represent a part of me.
The process for developing my definition of art did not took a while. I looked at a few pictures that were random. I determined what part of the picture I liked the ones that I don’t seem to like, and the ones that’s interesting. It’s changed my view on art; everything doesn’t have to be pretty to look at. That the first thing I notice about an art piece is colors, which makes it important in art. Even without researching what art is, I would see it everywhere and I realize it also doesn’t have to be in a museum that certain people can look at it, it should be shown in public where everyone can see it. I think art is beautiful. No matter what the art piece is like it depends on that person’s view what beautiful is. I decided to make my art visually. I will make a simple picture of a woman with an evening dress. I would like to make the dress stand out more. It would be a connection to fashion designing and I want to prove that as being art.

Blog Post #3 Reading and Response
I chose to view this blog to see what they thought art might be.
1. The person shares a site that has all these art and it's called VVORK and describes how he/she thinks is art. He/she takes some pictures that VVORK has and says how it has "electrifying sense of originality and spirit" which may relate to emotions being described what makes it art.
2. It has evidence that contains pictures.
3. I guess it makes it look unique that make the person think is art. It has unusual things people may not often see. Like a square clock hanging on the wall but is broken. And a bunch of televisions that shows a mouth chewing bubble gum.
4. Art was described to be electrifying and spirit. I know for sure it has to do with emotions.
5. I did not think the response to what is art is effective. It was a short comment and it had mostly pictures of art pieces but did not describe how it seems to be art. All it said was how exciting it was and basically makes emotion.
6. I think at this point art, does not have to be in museums. Because in the pictures, it shows the art kept in places that were wide spaces and something a museum would look like. I think art is anywhere and anytime.

Blog Post #2 Response
This looks either a painting or made digitally. It's a picture of a man's back turned with a sign that says, "The end is over." It's different how I thought art is. I know not all art is about fashion. It looks dark, eerie in a way. My perspective in art is mostly beauty but this man shows a hint of sadness and the words, it automatically makes me think. What end is over? It should mean the world maybe? Society? But it did say the end is over, so it must mean something good, because endings can be bad. I'm a bit torn between something, I do think art is beautiful but there are ones that does not look so beautiful. In the eyes, maybe but I still think art is beautiful. When I took the poll, what is "Not-Art?" and saw the results many people took, it appealed to me that most of the people voted that art must evoke an emotion. The poll's questions were not entirely true in this picture. It wasn't expensive, nor held at the museum. And I thought it seemed true that it must have something with emotions that expresses art and I think that's one of what art is and it should have emotions.
